Generally speaking, sociology is the scientific study of society and social reality. Therefore, the main subject of sociology as a science is society. Our community does not support any discriminatory discourse. It is open to all students who aim at the development of Turkish society, who will approach problems in a solution-oriented manner and who want to take a “sociological perspective”.
As a community established in February 2021, our main goal is; It is to see all Hasan Kalyoncu University students who are interested in sociology, want to have knowledge, take part in the activities we organize as a community and turn to a different field in university life.

Sociology Society; Our mission is to understand the society we are in, to provide individuals with the ability to approach sociological events and phenomena with a critical eye, to create an ideal social awareness, to strengthen the communication of community members with individuals, to bring development and change to the society through social, cultural and artistic activities.
Vision
Sociology Society; to deal with social facts and events from a sociological point of view, to contribute to the academic life of the community members by creating seminars and interviews by creating different perspectives by making people in different fields of curiosity and developing in these fields, watching films and documentaries and making various analyzes on these issues and gathering them all under one roof. and to present, to be active in many fields, to be conscious individuals by establishing reading groups, to seek solutions to the problems in society with social responsibility projects.
