Overview
Hasan Kalyoncu University offers its students a complete campus life alongside their academic education. Accommodation, dining and health needs are met to a high standard, with the residence hall, cafeteria and health centre planned to make students’ daily lives safe and comfortable. The campus is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and uninterrupted internet access, and welcomes students as an environmentally friendly, sustainable site that generates its own energy from the sun.
The Health, Culture and Sports Directorate organises this campus life so that it contributes to students’ personal, social, cultural, artistic and physical development. The aim is to nurture students as well-equipped, self-aware individuals from their very first day at the University, and to create an environment in which they can acquire the skills they need to be successful and effective in their professional and social lives.
Sports Facilities
The campus sports infrastructure comprises an indoor sports hall with a capacity of 1,500, a fitness centre, and indoor and outdoor multi-purpose facilities. Students can represent the University in basketball, football, table tennis, tennis, badminton, futsal and folk dance teams. Sports courses, internal tournaments and national and international inter-university competitions support both students’ individual development and their sense of teamwork.
Culture and Community Life
The campus is home to many active student societies. Bringing students together around their shared interests, these societies create a rich social calendar throughout the year, featuring congresses, seminars, conferences, talks, technical trips, sports events, tournaments and concerts. These activities complement students’ academic journey and provide an environment in which they can make meaningful use of their free time and develop new interests.
Social Life and Support
The Directorate supports students across a broad range of areas, from accommodation, dining and health services to sports and cultural and artistic activities. The aim is not merely to provide administrative support, but to accompany students in making their university years productive, healthy and fulfilling.
