Those Who Are Living with Games Theater Community

HASAN KALYONCU UNIVERSITY THOSE WHO ARE LIVING WITH GAMES THEATER COMMUNITY

We are a group that was established in 2010 and took part in 27 different stages with 10 different plays. We are a team, a huge family rather than a community.

Our job is not just acting in the theater; To invest these facts that make us all, such as discipline, determination to work, faith, success, self-confidence and respect, to qualified manpower in the long term.

One of the most important points for the team is that we are a prestigious community that organizes, guides, respects the team history and takes confident steps.

We are a community that provides its members with skills such as attention and concentration, physical coordination, joint movement, concept learning, motor skills, vocal use, applying commands, and being in rhythm within the team, together with the exercises performed within the team. We are a team that aims to display the physical power and mental power in the right way on the stage.

Aim

We are those who respect art and society, perform art for art and for society. We are a team that manages to exist by including the value judgments of our members in the team, without separating every part of the society from each other, forgetting that we are as human as we value. We aim to prepare humanity for a future blended with art and to raise respected individuals who will set an example for our society.

KEEP WOMANNESS WITH US

It is the first single-act theater play that we have staged as Yaşayanlar Theater Group with Plays. Written by Yılmaz Erdoğan, this play was staged at Hasan Kalyoncu University Congress and Culture Center on May 26, 2016.

THE NEIGHBOR’S CRAZY OF THE VILLAGE

It is the end of the year game prepared by our team in the 2016/2017 academic year. We made adaptations as a team in our play, which explains the society’s attitudes towards mentally ill people, written by Üstün Dökmen, and staged them at Hasan Kalyoncu University Congress and Culture Center on 8 May 2017.

NATURALIZATION SPORT

We took the stage with “Improvisation Sport” at the Kütür Art Week event hosted by Erdem College. We brought our improvisation activity together with primary and secondary school students.

ABUR CUBUR NEIGHBORHOOD

We staged a children’s play called Abur Cubur Mahallesi in the 2016/2017 academic year with the principle of Children Grow with Theater. We met 500 primary and kindergarten level students with our game, which aims to raise awareness of children against obesity in today’s diseases.

COZES

The first absurd play we’ve staged. We staged Adalet Ağaoğlu’s play Kozalar, which we prepared to not only make you laugh, but also to remind and remind you of its thought-provoking and instructive character, at Hasan Kalyoncu University Congress and Culture Center and Onat Kutlar Stage.

Çöpşiş and Kipkip

We brought our social responsibility project Çöpiş and KıpKıp together with approximately 900 students at pre-school, primary and secondary school levels, especially from many village schools.

Tema: Let’s protect mother nature, keep our environment clean.

ISTANBUL SIR

The play, which takes place after the “Tulip Era” in the Ottoman Empire, exhibits the cultural and ethnic diversity of the Ottoman Empire, while mirroring the social structure and social relations of the period.

Kadı Savleti Efendi, who is afraid of all of Istanbul, who has taken root in the nation, and tradesmen, is looking for a good fortune for his daughter Esma. But things get complicated when Savleti Efendi tries to choose the groom-to-be suitable for his daughter because of his fondness for fortune telling, fairies and jinn. In short, his daughter Esma Safi Çelebiye fell in love with her. Two young people have fallen into an impossible love. Çengi Afet is the only person who will cure this problem in Istanbul and who can deceive and defeat Kadı Savleti Efendi. Thus, a complication begins.

Our play has a musical taste and gave the audience pleasant moments with lots of laughter.

Luxury Life

It is a game called Lüküs Hayat, which we plan to stage in the 2020/2021 academic year. Lüküs Hayat, an operetta composed by Cemal Reşit Rey in 1933; It is one of the classical works of Turkish theater. It deals with the transformation of westernization, which became a fashion apart from being a state policy in the first years of the Republic, into a folly of politeness. He dealt with two different classes of the society: Alongside the lower class who lived with theft, an upper segment who lived with a “rich” identity and was left without money because he threw what he had, by cheating each other to “Luxe Life” and establishing relationships based on interest.

Our play has a musical taste and gave the audience pleasant moments with lots of laughter.
