HASAN KALYONCU UNIVERSITY YOUNG GREEN CRESCENT COMMUNITY
A few students in our school participated in an event organized by Green Crescent and after the event they decided to establish this community in our school.
Aim
Our community was established primarily to support our friends in fighting all harmful habits such as technology addiction, which damages the body and mental health of society and youth such as tobacco, alcohol and substance addiction, and to help our friends actively maintain their consciousness.
Vision-Mission
Green Crescent, based on human dignity and dignity, working to protect society and youth from harmful habits without discrimination, observing national and moral values and using scientific methods, tobacco, alcohol, drugs, technology, gambling, etc. struggling with addictions; It is a non-governmental organization that conducts preventive and rehabilitative public health and advocacy activities.

Activities
BICYCLE TOUR EVENT
Operating not only in the field of addictions but also in the field of healthy living, Green Crescent offers traditional bicycle tours to get rid of boring cars and stifling traffic.
1-7 MARCH YEŞİLAY WEEK ACTIVITIES
Workshops, talks, exhibitions, information stands and many other activities were met with you at the event tent organized by our group as part of the Green Crescent week on March 1-7.
CAMPING EVENT
We organized a camp with Green Crescent volunteers and esteemed educators from all over Turkey, including addiction training, paintball, rope course, arrow shooting, stone painting.
PEER EDUCATION
Within the scope of Peer Education, it is aimed to provide training for trainers within the scope of the Education Program for Combating Addiction in Turkey and by providing these trainings to students’ own clubs and other clubs within the university, if there are young people who already have such a problem, it is aimed to carry these children and / or young people to a better future by intervening early.
