HASAN KALYONCU UNIVERSITY DSC COMMUNITY

Google Developer Student Clubs are fully volunteer developer student communities that Google founded in 2017. It was started in 2019 in Turkey. Each year, that period is completed with the 1-year leaders determined by interviews by Google employees. The aim of Google with its developmental student communities is that students can produce solutions for problems in the sector before they graduate, while teaching others thanks to peer-to-peer learning, in fact, individuals complete their own education, students who are members of these communities throughout the university life to have a good Network before graduation.

Aim

As Google Developer Student Clubs Hasan Kalyoncu University, we aim to search for solutions to current problems in the sector based on Google’s technologies, organize various events (Study Jamler, Hackathons, Speaker Session, Tech Talks) and tell about Google’s new or existing technologies, graduates and the sector. By inviting the people involved as speakers, we aim for our community members to meet people from the sector before they graduate, and to make a good career planning for them.

Mission and Vision

Developer Student Clubs are communities that organize developer events in their region, based on Google technologies. It is a Google Developers initiative that specifically aims to help university students improve their skills such as mobile, web, machine learning and cloud computing. Moreover, every student, who likes to try new ideas and create solutions, from novice developers to advanced developers who want to improve their skills can join these clubs.

Education and Webinars

Providing Information About Google Technologies with the participation of experts or people in the field and experts in their fields such as Flutter and Android teach software to our members.

Ideathon and Hackhatons

By holding Ideas or Product-Based Competitions, we take initiatives to open the horizons of our members and in addition to these, we encourage the projects or ideas to international competitions by mentoring the ranking teams.
